Hey Everyone!
I am Katie and a Boston area middle school teacher, wife, and mother of a one year old. After gaining over 80 pounds during pregnancy I found myself at a loss for words when I had the baby and still had over 70 pounds of “baby weight” on my 5”4’ frame. This was not exactly healthy, fit, or fun.
Almost a year, countless miles, and 95 pounds later, I decided to turn my weight loss journey into a health journey. It became more important to fit in time for a healthy, balanced lifestyle for my family than to fit into size zero skinny jeans.
I chronicles my family’s journey of fitness and health on this blog. Here you can see my workouts, road race experiences, experiments with new healthy recipes, and doing family time the healthy and happy way!
