When I got home from work today, I was feeling a little grumpy due to the snow and freezing rain pelting my face. But then I opened my mailbox to a mysterious package from Rodale Press. Clearly, that peaked my interest and made the non-existent sun shine a little in my mind.
When I opened it up I found a letter that I had won a raffle at the Runner’s World Half Marathon and Festival! A signed T-Shirt and book from Alberto Salazar!
I have to admit this turned my day right around and I am so excited to add it to my growing collection of running memorabilia in my home gym! Yay Yay!
I didn’t have time to dwell on my excitement for too long because I had to hit up CrossFit for today’s workout. I have gotten some emails and messages about posting my WODs and I am happy to share the ones from my box but I know a lot of these are not conducive to home workouts. Therefore, I am going to try to post adjusted ones for home the best I can.
Remember, I am not a trainer, but I will try my best to match up similar muscle groups to get a similar workout using affordable home workout gear (i.e. jump ropes, dumbbells, etc..)
Here are some instructional videos to get started:
Dumbbell Thrusters:
Dumbbell Cleans:

Hope you get a good workout in! Hang on friends only one more day until the weekend
Question: When you don’t make it to the gym do you try to modify a workout for home using what you have in the house?

You rock!! Thanks so much
. I watched the video’s . . . very good. I’ll open each video tomorrow before I start the workout, so if I need a quick review I’ll can hit the tab and play……..wah lah!
.
I’m working slowly on my home gym. This was perfect because I’ve already got quite a few sizes of dumb bells and a jump rope. Thanks again
Of course! I hope it helps!
