Short and little posts this week as I am getting ready to get back to school and favoring a re-injured hip. Clearly I am still going to run the Rock N’ Roll Providence half but only as a pacer for my husband who will be running his first half in 5 years (with very little training). I decided not to run it for my own time because it took a LONG time for my hip to heal the first time and I don’t really want to completely mess it up again, but I can’t resist this race completely.
So here are my favorites of the week:
Fitness: The Rock n’ Roll Marathon Series
This running series is made up of marathon, half marathons, and relays. Known for it’s bands at every mile and concert at the end this race epitomizes fun run. With both local and international races you are sure to find one that fits your life! This weekend I am excited to run the Rock n’ Roll Half in Providence with Brian. We also will be enjoying the Karmin concert after! The only thing better would be a little Carly Rae Jepsen..Maybe?
Family: Citrus Lane Box
I have been going back and forth about ordering this for Cooper but finally decided I MUST. It has 4 to 5 of the best items for baby (newborn to three) and is sent to you each month for $25. l am a sucker for anything that has “new” or “must have” next to it. However, I am hoping this box curbs my baby spending apetite and I get some really cool stuff for the Super Cooper. My first box comes in September and I can’t wait to share it with you!!
Food: 100 Days of Real Food
I am obsessed with Lisa Leakes. Lisa created a challenge first, for her family, then everyone else to go 100 days with no processed or artificial foods. Yes, that means NO SUGAR! To work that hard to make a better healthy lifestyle for you and your family is amazing! She has inspired me to help my family cut back on processed foods. She has many great recipes and information for anyone looking to have a better and healthier lifestyle.
