I don’t know about other moms but I find it very hard to be productive with an 18th month old in tow. I literally get nothing done (laundry, cleaning, errands) for days and then I get into a “work it” mode and get everything done at once and nothing can deter me from this mission.
I wish I could follow the rule of clean one room a day to keep a clean house. I try all the time but it never happens. I end up being a psycho cleaner and organizer and drive my husband crazy for a day and then the next day, mess ensues. I couldn’t keep a clean bedroom when I was a kid I certainly can’t keep a whole house clean!

Working on my back to school supply buckets for my students. Can I right “DON”T MESS THESE UP” on them? Too harsh?
But today is a productive day and I did the errands I never do. I got gas, went to the bank to activate my new ATM card, made a dentist appointment, did the dishes, and went grocery shopping with Super Cooper. I even started my table buckets for back to school. Who knows I might even get crazy and unpack from this Cape this weekend.
But I feel my productivity mood wearing off quick. I am sure I will just end up blowing bubbles, playing with chalk, and watching Elmo for the next 6 hours or so until Coop goes to bed and I hit the gym.
Question: Mom’s how do you get all your errands done with a baby? Do you work on a schedule or do you get everything done all at once? Or do you live in complete chaos like me?!
I’m a nanny for a 6 year, 4 year, and 4 month old, so u totally know the feeling!! Sometimes I just have to sit back and realize somethings just won’t get done, and that’s ok!! The most important thing too is asking for help when u need it!! None of us can do it all! Keep on keepin on!! Spa love! :0)
I think its a give and take. I realized that working a full time job, even if it is from home, makes it hard to balance housework and stuff. I still take care of my 2.5 year old at home too. Somedays I can have a clean house or get laundry done, but some days its just not going to happen. I’ve learned to roll with it. Pick and chose the battles!
I wish I had advice! Instead all I can say is that I relate 100%. I get nothing done with Braedon in tow. I actually pay my sister in law to watch him 2 or 3 mornings a week while Makenzie is in school so I can actually get work done. #confession
I think that is a great idea! Now that Cooper is climbing EVERYTHING he needs 100% attention because as soon as a I turn my head he is on top of the dining room table or tumbling from the top of the couch. I think my sister will be open to bribes
